How It Works
A web-based application is created based on the criteria provided by the student organization. The link to this web-based application is provided to the student organization to be placed on their website. By clicking on this link, participants are able to go to the application to register for the event.
Cost to Student Organization
The only costs associated with the web registration process are those to cover bank fees. Bank fees vary depending on the amount collected as well as the number of registrants. For the most part bank fees range from $1-$3. Student Organizations should plan on making $1-$3 less per registrant than the amount charged.
The following are services provided to student organizations:
- Prepackaged application design with custom masthead, colors, links and texts.
- Regular reports on the registrants & their payments. These reports automatically compile all the information collected from each registrant as an easy to read & sort excel spreadsheet.
- Reconciliation of all web-based payments.
- Roster of participants.
- Confirmation emails sent to each registrant.
Cost to Student Organizations:
- Bank Fees ranging on average of $1-$3/transaction
Financial Process
The office of Conferences and Pryzbyla Management will handle the deposit of funds into the student organization accounts through the Cashier's Office. The Web Registration System is a secure and dependable way of collecting fees. The office of Conferences and Pryzbyla Management will deposit the money using account information specified by the student organizations.
Timeline
The creation of the web-based registration application, arrangements for financial reporting and other steps requires adequate planning time. It is suggested that those interested in using the web based registration services, fill out the Interest Application no later than four weeks prior to the first day of registration.
