Checking Out Check-out begins at 7 a.m. and continues until 10 a.m. on the day of your scheduled departure. *Failure to check out during specified times without prior approval will result in a loss of your key deposit.    Upon your scheduled departure and check-out and the return of all university-issued items such as your room key, building access card and meal card, your original $75 key deposit will be credited to your account. The key deposit is refunded to the same credit card used to pay your initial deposit. Please note that it can take up to two months to process key refunds.   *CUA will not refund the key deposit by cash or check.  The key deposit will be refunded to the initial credit card used to make the deposit.
