DuFour Policies and Rates

The Dufour Athletic Center has space for indoor and outdoor activities.  Due to heavy demand, athletic space must be requested as far in advance as possible.  In addition to the Agreement for Conference Services and Facilities, a Pool Use Request Form must be returned for any groups that would like to use the pool services during their stay at CUA.  In addition, the following policies must be adhered to: 

  • The purchasing organization agrees to pay $20.00 per usage for the first 10 individuals, and $15.00 for each subsequent 10 individuals for the use of the DuFour Center Swimming Pool and locker rooms.
  • Payments are due within 30 days of invoice.
  • In the event CUA is required to cancel any authorized use for any reason, make up time will not be authorized and fees will be refunded.
  • The organization may not enter the pool until the hour of their scheduled session.
  • CUA will be responsible for maintaining properly certified staff for all scheduled events.
  • Use of saunas is not allowed for participants under the age of 15 years pursuant to District of Columbia Health Codes.
  • All participants are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the University and staff.  Failure to do so will result in removal from the facility for that session.
