CUA Student Summer Housing 2013

Please note: The information is for CUA students (current academic year CUA students, 2013 CUA graduates, and visiting college students enrolled in summer courses at CUA).

***Housing information for VISITING INTERNS is available here.***

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a summer on-campus assignment through Housing Services, individuals must be a current academic year CUA student, a 2013 CUA graduate, or a visiting college student enrolled in summer courses at CUA. For the time period from May 19 through August 11, current CUA students do not need to be enrolled in summer classes in order to be eligible for summer housing. This is a great opportunity for CUA students to pursue internships and other career opportunities in the D.C. metro area during the summer months.

Summer Housing Dates

The summer class schedule is available through Cardinal Station or Summer Sessions.

On-campus housing is available from May 19 through August 11. On-campus housing is also available during the transition period from May 12 through May 19 for current residents. Current residents who want to request transition housing for this week may do so.

On-campus housing is not generally available between August 12 through August 25. Students will be expected to vacate their summer assignment by noon on August 11. However, students who are summer residents until August 11 and have a confirmed fall housing assignment are eligible for fall transition housing from August 11 through August 25. More information on the fall transition option will be available in mid-July.

A seven night minimum stay is required for CUA summer housing unless you enrolled in the Ward Method Summer Program (five night minimum stay).
